Well it ruined out fine and I am now enjoying some of it, how I wish you could be here to sample it. Do you remember the candy pulling you and I had together? I often think of it and the walks, operas, picnics etc. I have gone to with you. Do you ever think of them? I hope we may be able to have a great many more, and I often wonder if these same good old days will ever be repeated. Of course the same things can never come again but we can look back on them with pleasure and recall the memories of the past.
