7. adjustment yes, but still lonely. So that my dear is my report. Now can I have yours unless I can yet expect a 3/5/44 letter (answering letter) that will sum up everything. Well my darling I was prepared to give you a full report of my contacts at the Draft Board because they were very interesting and I learned much but I have gone on so and I have written too much already. Suffice to say that today at the office and at the Draft Board, I had several interesting situations and people and you know how I love people - when they have especially interesting backgrounds or stories. I am delighted. Just looked at my handwriting and decided that it looks as if I broke my thumb and forefinger.
