2. We weren't too busy today but I kept busy anyway. As Chapter Chairman I had to keep on my feet urging this one to do this, that one that. At 12 we had a little lunch for Ruth K who is our departing chairman and coworker. She is being transferred to another job in the Dept. But I had to make a speech extemporaneously and did it OK, plus had to organize the singing - Me! But did OK too. Then one afternoon of excitement with a client or so. Came home to supper with Ruth K. as we had to go to a meeting with councilman Vogel. In the middle of supper Sammy came in with David who had been together all day because Sam is leaving tomorrow.
