Good Evening - darling, Nothing much to tell you tonight about "my Day" - darling- Quite usual kind of day, except had supper at my mother's + then took David home + put him to bed - + stayed home tonight. I here qualms about not being at Mom's tonite because Dad had an unusually bad day in consideration of his measure of improvement. But I am so tired - I hope to sleep. Just heard the news - a third Allied landing at Bordeaux - Well, well - things are moving so quickly they can hardly keep up with the mapmakers for the newspapers. Frankly events can't move fast enough for me - Well - darling no mail today - which is a bit disappointing - but I am really not complaining because I have received mail pretty regularly to date. Moreover, I can possibly catch up on my replies to the accumulated letters.
