The letter was dated June 17. (some time no?) and had the pictures you and he took in London. They are fine pictures and enjoyed them very much. I think you took exceedingly well in your "Eisenhower" (as they call them here) jacket. Alvin seems wider - [illegible] and more solidly built. You look well together and he pictures are really grand. Al said he sent you a set and is having another made to forward to me. I should like very much to have a set of them. Am enclosing a picture of Mad and Danny who is too cute for words, all pink and white and smart and bright. (The picture doesn't do him justice.) I really ought to take a couple of pictures of me but since when is my mug interesting enough - phooey!
